Zeiss Imager A.1 Fluorescence Microscope

Location: 873A WIDB

The Zeiss Imager A.1 offers the following:

• View with brightfield, darkfield, or phase contrast

• View fluorescence with filters for DAPI, FITC, Rhodamine, and Cy5

• 10X, 20X, 40X, or 100X objectives

• Uses a 12 megapixel digital camera to capture images

• Software useful for overlapping images, adding scale bars, measuring length, area, ect. of objects in picture

Filters Include:

1) Differential Interference Contrast (DIC or Nomarski)

2) UV Excitation (for Dapi, Hoechst, Alexa350, AMCA, Marina Blue, APC)

• Excitation BP 377/25, Dichroic FT 415-570

• Emission BP 447/30

3) Blue Excitation (for FITC, GFP, Alexa488, Fluo4)

• Excitation BP 482/40, Dichroic FT 506

• Emission BP 536/25

4) Green Excitation (for Rhodamine, TRITC, DSRed1, Alexa568)

• Excitation BP 546/12, Dichroic FT 580

• Emission LP 590

5) Red Excitation (for Cy5)

• Excitation BP 640/30, FT 660

6) Blue Excitation (for FITC, GFP, Alexa488, Fluo4)
